i put the oem stock cat-back exhaust on the car, stock oem cat,and i went to put the stock head on,and the exhaust is up towards front of the car too far, about 3-4 inches! i cannot figure out what the hell is wrong here, its in my garage so no lift, anyone got any suggestions to get this header bolted up,or push the exhaust back somehow?never seen this happen before

sounds like the exhaust you have is for a d16y5/7
they were longer because the cat was part of the header

so if i got the right thing on here i dont understand why its too long toward front, like i go to bolt stock header on,and it wont touch the head,it gets pushed toward the rad support, maybe i could pull the cat back exhaust back more>?
