What would you say is a fair price from a Honda dealer to get a leather steering wheel cover installed? This is for a Civic LX 2007. Sometimes I think the dealer tries to take advanatge of me :-( Thanks!

 

Being a former Honda accessory installer and current service writer i can tell you that Honda says that it takes 8/10's and we usually charge an hour of labor...bout 97 bucks.. THEY SUCK to install and never really come out looking that great on ANY car. Just buy the whole wheel from collegehillshonda.com...

 

In other words, I am better off just buying some generic thing and doing it myself if its gonna look crappy? Maybe I will buy a new wheel :-) Thanks!

The leather wraps are a royal PITA to install... all the tech's I know absolutley hate doing them - Youre better off doing it yourself or going w/ an alternative route.

 

Oh soooo true Tre!!! I used to dread doing those damn things, they never fit right, never look right and i poke the sh*t outta my hands doing em!!!
