Right brake light not working!!

Right brake light not working!!
92 civic HB
When the lights are off and i hit the brakes both brake lights work..
When i turn on the running lights or headlights and i hit the brakes only the left side works and the right side light goes off..
Anyone have any ideals what the problem could be?
