anyone know what wrong....when I try to turn on the engine I don't hear it crank or trying to turn over just silence.....it happen couple times...but when it does start up the engine it idle for like 2 seconds and the rpm drop to 0 and it die....anyone has any suggestion please help me out...thx

 

new battery or alternator, have you tried jump starting it or push starting it?

 

i forgot to mention as a tranmission wise the car is auto....94 LS

 

St Jimmy might be right with a new battery. But check the batt first before you go buy a new one. Clean the positive batt post cause it can be corroded. Pick up some solvent and the metal batt post cleaner. If that doesn't help, bring the batt to any auto store to check if it can still hold any juice.
