Default problem with an all -4 clutch line? will there be?

i needed to relocate, remove, just re do my factory hard line. my hydraulics shop can make me a braided stainless lined hose for my clutch hydraulics. from the 12mm x 1.0 to the 10mm x 1.0 on the slave. i know the same ammount of fluid will be moved from the master but, is there a reason honda necked down the 12mm to a 10mm at the trans?

exedy twin b.t.w.

thanks in advance.

EDITED*********

you should be fine with a -4. that's what I used to run. -3 is hard to come by at a hydraulic shop because it's an automotive application. The smallest they have at a hydraulic shop is -4 or 1/4" and you'll be just fine with that.

-4 was a no go for me, it was flexing too much.

I ran a -3 and it worked great. Just make sure you have it secured down. Part of my line was rubbing against a the edge of my battery tray and it put a hole in it one night i was driving. Other then that

Why did you go with -3 when the metal tube is 1/4" OD which is -4 line.

before the damper is smaller, then the big line, then down again to the small line at the slave.

wanted 1 piece from the damper or whatever that aluminum bulkhead is under the prop valve is to the slave.
