Default Part out or Sell as whole?? 99 ls

Hey guys, Im new to posting here but i've been looking around the forums forever.
I have a 99 ls 5-speed that has some damage to it. It needs a new transmission and left axle, but other than that its in pretty good condition.

What should I do, part it out or sell it as is(and what do you think a fair price is) ?

http://www.picturetrail.com/ga...ers=1
thanks guys

Right now I don't have the time or energy to fix it. Im probably just going to sell it as is..
Its either fix it and sell it or just sell it as is..

It has 182k on it..
I was really thinking more along the lines of: someone would really enjoy and appreciate it more than I can at this point in my life and it has a clean title. So why not give some one a canvas to create a work of art?

But If anyone sent me a p.m. I cant respond to it. (Trial member).
lucidelementa@hotmail.com is where you can reach me at if you want.

Thanks for all the input guys

honestly thats to cheap. if u sell it for 2500 ill pick it myself. don't really need it already have 4. but its a deal. u should be able to sell it for 3500-4k as-is. maybe even 4500 if u push it. its not that bad in repairs and to fix the body. plus clean title 98+plus body. choice, but if u fix it u get way more money

Well it has minor damage to the Front driver's (left) side. I've already said this but: basically the axle and a few suspension parts have to be replaced in addition to the transmission. And im really not up for doing it. Because A) I need a 4 door so I can start selling real estate(and not taking my dad's tsx all the time), and B) I just want something different.

So basically part of the left suspension has to be replaced, tie rod and a few other items.

The three main items that have to be replaced are:
- the axle
- the transmission
- the wheel
- left fender

I can post more pictures if you want but the basic story is:
-father bought it with 30k on it and took great care of it and gave it to me with 170k.
- then one night while it was raining the brakes locked up because I had to stop suddenly and I went into a curb

So Im now looking to sell it because I love the car but I rather have someone else have it that can enjoy it more once it's fixed.

The car DOES have a CLEAN Title.
I do have almost all the records for it from 30k to 178k. And everything was done at Acura of Tucson or Acura of Phoenix.
And it just recently passed emissions easily.

So I think at $3300 it would be a good deal?

The kbb "good" private party value is $5,385 and basically im taking off 2,085 for the repairs (and the trouble of getting the car) so it's $3,300.
Is that a fair deal guys?

What do you think myfirstdc2?

So is that 3 or 4 items that need to be fixed???

Hate to brake it to you but your car isn't in "good" condition didn't you read the description of a "good" car in the KBB. Free of mechanical defects, your car has them, you can't drive it. Don't expect someone to pay for a car with damage that doesn't run. You may be able to get 5 if you fix it. And if you have someone telling you that they will buy it for more i would give it to them.

Sell it to this guy. If you don't you won't be able to get any more than 2500

like i said 3300 would said fair to you. but it has some problems that u don't have time to fix. the guy that offered you 2500. i said that was cheap. and if u really did sell it for 2500 i will pick it up myself. all im saying is if u can fix it u will get more money. thats all. i can understand your point and all. but u main concern should be getting the most for u car and for a car that doesnt run and missing parts, it's really hard to sell at 3300. thats just my opinion.

Okay.. well I guess you didn't get what I was trying to do.
The point was; the car has a clean title and besides those items the car is in good condition all around overall.

I understand what your trying to say but thats besides the point.
I'm saying that the good condition on kbb is $5385.
Next im saying that minus $2085 for repairs.
But im assuming if anyone buys it off honda-tech that they will be looking for:
a) a clean title
b) a body that is in good condition besides the left front fender
c) a fair price
d) Im assuming if someone does buy it off of honda-tech the transmission they put in wouldnt even be an ls 5-speed. Probably a gsr tranny.
So is that a better way to put it?

After discussing it with my father (still in charge in the end) I would sell it to you (myfirstdc2) for $2700 to $2800.

He said $2500 was way too low and I understand that $3300 is way too high.
