so i decided to run a aftermarket front lip on my EG coupe. I cant decide between the type r style or the mugen style. Also i am going to put a type r rear lip on and i was wondering if anyone has one and if aftermarket exhaust clears?

 

I would go with the 92-95 ex/si front lip. But between your choices, mugen style.

 

My only problem with the ex/si is all the civics from that year have them and i want to make mine different.... it looks good but when it gets painted looks cheesy if you know what i mean. I also cant find the mugen in urethane which i want so it wont break.

my buddy has the real mugen one...man its sweet on EG/EJ's.

 

yea....i really like that one too...hard to find tho and kind of pricey. looks the best i think tho.

 

anything but the type-r...since there is no type R for an eg.... just a type r style....i perosnally like the si/si-R lip. but if you want differant then just go with what you like bro. dont worry what we think

look at the mugen wwrs lip they sell very nice lip, then the spoon then the mugen v3 and the mugen v2 and after all try to super sleeper and get a sir lip for the eg

Unless you have some rare jdm **** that hurt your wallet you are going to have many parts that other people have, even a mugen/type-r style lip on your EG. Out of the the two choices though, I would opt for the Mugen style since OEM is not a choice.

 

yea...i have made up my mind... im going to get the mugen wwrs lip. it is kinda expensive but it is so clean and looks like it belongs. thanks for all the input guys ill try and get some pics up when i get it put on.

 

yea just make sure u get it in polyeurathane. abs plastice lips arnt worht the time to put on on lowered cars, unlees u get em for 10$. poly will at least stretch a bit

and every highschool kid has a mugen or type r style lip.

not too many people have the spoon style lip which is pretty nice, but if you want to be uber cool get the bys lip

 

which is the bys lip? i havnt heard of that... i was thinking about gettimg the mugen wwrs lip though. looks clean.
