Not the rail, but bigger injectors would give you more tuning possibilities. A fuel pump might be good too..

It's more like a peace of mind thing to upgrade the pump.

You're flying out here in the summer for cupcakes?! They'll melt before you get to eat them, haha. I'm not too far from DFW airport....

just based on 11:1 compression and stock head, your stock injectors will be fine.

yeah unless you have plans to upgrade further in the future, then there is no reasont o run larger injectors. higher compression doesn't mean you need more fuel, it just means better tuning.

decided to come back Blake? I will be upgrading the head later, just not right now. it'll stay stock, ill buy a bare head on the side and build it.

Don't need either, I upgraded to type-s pistons with dsm injectors and a fuel rail. It was a total waste of cash.. With the money you save buy a basic hondata and a p72 and tune it.

at what point does the stock rail become restrictive and not flow enough fuel ?

um your fuel lines will become a restriction before the rail. Once your fuel line diamters are bigger than the fuel rail then its time to upgrade your fuel rail. People have made 600whp + on stock fuel rails, its the injectors and the supply lines. if your going n/a you need to worry only about injectors.

if your only going n/a then most likely there is no reason to upgrade. if your running some form of tuneable EMS then you can make any and all fuel adjustments through the EMS. in short the stocker should be fine. if you ever need to significantly raise your fuel presure then you might want one. say forexample big turbo guys runing 80spi base fuel pre and 1600cc injectors, you would need a fuel presure regulator to raise the base presure.

when tuning you will find out if you need bigger injectors or upgrade the fuel pump.

you will need bigger injectors if the injector duty cycle constantly sits above 80%. VTEC engines usually peak for short amounts of time about that threshold, however more contant usage above this points to larger injectors needed.

You will also see that if your not getting enough fuel you could also need a better fuel pump.

I went from a H22A4 to a H22A, and I keep get getting Random misfires on all 4 cylinders. Are you saying that upgrading the injectors may help with this problem?

i run stock injectors with my h22a. Unless you got some major mods, stock injectors are more than sufficient.
