Hey guys im new to the site and i just recently bought a 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatch! I love the Car but it needs a new engine and tranny and gettin a new one dropped in. But my main question is that the car came with NO power steering! lol its not that bad but i was curious how much it would cost to put power steering in!?

 

well if your dropping a different motor in then more than likely it will come with power steering. If it doesnt then look for the pump and brackets. i got all my stuff for under $100 when i did it.

 

yea im gettin a D15B SOHC VTEC and Hydro Tranny dropped in! Hopefully that comes with power steering. If not i will look for those parts! Thanks for your help man!

 

You will need...

Power Steering Pump
Power Steering Lines
Power Steering Resevoir
Power Steering Rack
Brackets

Non-Power Steering Rack will need to be removed. You will likely need to replace the tie rods ends, and you will deffinitely need an alignment immediatly after installation.
