Another question about how to tell si trans true or false
I know that you can spin the main shaft ten times in first and tell that way but i don't know how to get the transmission into first outside of the car. I did find this though is it true look above the oil fill, there is a stamp that will say PL3/####
PL3/A### = small bearing case - DX/HF/STD
PL3/B000 = large bearing - SI/ZC
PL3/3000/6000/9000 = large bearing - SI/ZC
as for clutches, as long as you have a 90-91 flywheel it will use a 90-91 SI clutch. unless the trans is an '88(21 spline input shaft)
and can i trust it cuz the trans i got says pl3 3000 Thanks and ur quick response is appreciated.

that is correct. as for identification, that looks right also, but you may still do the spin test to be sure.
