Ls/vtec wont hold idle

My ls/vtec i just built won't hold an idle, it runs and drives fine other then the check engine light thats on, im sure that is on because of the idle problem. I converted the car to obd1 also.

sounds like idle air control valve to me.

fixed it, but now its throwing code 4, crank position sensor, and wont start.
