I got a 2000 accord 4cyl and my car isn't running to well, i just did a tune up and i think i should change my fuel filter. Where is it located exactly? Anyone ever had your automatic car stall once in a while ?

The fuel filter is a 'sock' on the end of the fuel pump inside the gas tank.
Check with the local dealer to see if your VIN is under the ignition switch recall

 

I didnt think you had to change the fuel filter...ever. I had this happen to my 98. I took it to dealer...turned out it was a recall. Hasnt happen since.

 

Is that recall only good for x amount of km? I'll have to call my dealer soon. Thanks
