yea, it was auto before. I had f-max kit before. However, i drove on it with 12psi everyday for 15,000+ miles with no problems. the transmission started to flare with this new setup. This trannies can handle some decent power before failure, but make sure you have a big tranny cooler, it will save you alot of headaches.

p.s it still is a auto

It's a fully built level ten tranny.

all now blue racing rayebestos clutch pack

heat-treated gears and shafts

upgraded thrust washers and bolts

modified valve body

billet torque converter

13x17x1.5 b&m tranny cooler with fan and temp sensor

have had no issues at all..shifts hard and fast...temperatures and all in optimal range

its nice to see your trying something different from the typical cookie cutter turbo setup..i have a few quetions:

what kind of intake temps do you get with that air to water setup??

how hot does it get after driving for a few hours??

how do you have your pcv setup??

what kind of manifold is that??

As far as WHP:

nothing yet. we are going to be doing another street tune within the week to clean up some areas for better drivability. Then we are taken it to the dynojet to take a look at the tune and make and other adjustments.

as far as track time:

Well about two years ago i ran a 13.8 sec 1/4mile at atco...haha trust me i'm not bragging...but i wasn't disappointed even with all the money i have into the motor and turbo system alone. At the time the was a rough tune on the car which was done the day of...the trans. was bone stock...street tires...with 14psi boost...my 60ft. was a terrible 2.8 sec...and the trans. flared every shift. however, my trap speed was 110mph, not to shabby...so taking all that into account, regardless of everything else if i had a stalled torque converter i could of easily pulled a 2 sec 60 ft. time. creeping into the 12's.

now with this new trans., drag radials, 21 psi, a clean tune...there should be no reason why i can't be in the 12's easy...i plan on competing powerstreet class for a couple races this year...goal is high 11's...what is the quickest automatic 5th gen in the US currently. Either way, i intend to be that person and show these lude owners what our car can acheive.

no videos presently. i would like to make a couple, but i don't have a camera

Air intake temps are most often between 0 to -6 degrees celcius from ambient temp.

doesn't get hot at all, tempertures are still below ambient temps. after hours of driving

pcv setup: direct evacuation to the atomsphere...line connented to valve cover to exhaust at a 45 degree angle to facilitate proper flow.

That would be a very expensive trick shaving the keyhole would cost less. But ofcourse CF trunk looks better

Everything carbon fiber on my car is seibon, top-notch quality, i have 2 VIS CF hoods before and the quality wasn't even close. However, they are a little bit more expensive

I must say you get two BIG for going the automatic route. I'd love to try it. But in my case I wouldn't bother wasting the money because I know it wouldn't hold up to high horsepower. Seems to work good on the setup you have. IMO Auto "would" be the way to go boosted provided it can hold the power.

Power street is a very tough class, virtually impossible to win with a prelude. My advice is do what i do in sfwd/T4 just have fun and run for yourself . 13.8@110 lol work on your driving but 110 is enough for high 12's just need to get out to the track and get her dialed in. As far as going for 11's on drags I personally know its no easy task but it can be done . Goodluck with your car very nice and clean project

Thank you very much. i and may users on this forum highly respect you and are thankful for the intelligent advice you give us.

first, i hear what you mean with autos not handling as much power, def. true. Level Ten garrunted the trans. for 650 crank HP. and so we all know i would be happy with 450.

I now i mentioned in the other post about competing, but i'm not out there to win and thing, just to get the car noticed, plus it's built to be daily driven so it's not just a drag car and i don't intend it to be. either way, i think i'm goin to take you advice you run in sfwd/t4

thanks again the thoughtful words

I would try Powerstreet first. Whats the stall on the car? Can you build boost from the line? Also what size drags are you using?

Hmmm 10-12 on that turbo should be plently. Try the 225's but.... I think the 235 would work even better look into the bias ply M&H's. You shouldn't need a spacer for the 235's thought I ran them for drags with no problems on my car. My buddies jay has a 5th gen thats been 11.7's on slicks and drove around on the 235/60/15 Mickey Thompson's also

with a good 235 if you take full advantage of the tire with the auto combo. You will have a very fast and highly respectable prelude
