Default Fit owners, help me with the price you paid..

Im buying a fit and im argueing with the normal BS from the salesman.. What price did you pay for you fit(before taxes and tags obviously since that differs from state to state)?

So far one dealership is offering me $16,063.00 on the road and another is offering me $16,904,70 on the road..

Im in Maryland so its a 5% sales tax here..

The higher price dealer doesnt know how the lower price one is selling it so cheap..

What did everyone pay for their fit (before tax and tags)?

Ohh.. This a for a 2007 Honda Fit SPORT 5-SPEED..

It just seems fishy to me how there is that much of a difference on such a cheap car.. I just wanted to get an idea how much others paid so I know beforehand if the "cheaper" dealership is trying to screw me or not..

I paid sticker for my Sport because they are nearly impossible to find around here, thus no room for bargaining.

go to http://www.honda.com and price your car. for the fit i purchased, sport w/ auto the msrp was 16565..you should not pay more than 1 or 200 over that. i bought mine in NoVA fredericksburg. invoice on these cars is about 15300, so there's not much bargaining room, but don't pay these crazy markups.

We just bought an 07 Fit Sport Auto in MD. Was about $17,200 OTD with the dealer added accessories. Sticker was like $16,500 i think. The dealers are only selling them for like $500-1000 over their cost, so its not too bad. Is the lesser price one on the lot, or a build-to-order? If it doesnt see the lot, they dont pay lot fees and can sell it cheaper.

I paid about 16.5 K as well. But I had them throw in the floormats and window tinting as well.

Isn't a fit sport auto 16,970 msrp (sticker)? How does one pay 17,200 OTD? That only leaves 230 for destination, tax, and license. In Ca I paid 18k exactly for an msrp of 16,970. Destination, tax and license came up to 18 even.

MSRP is like 15.9 here in MD. CA may be more due to the extra emissions parts you have to have.

I don't own a Fit as the dealers around here are out of their minds. MSRP and 6% tax on a manual Fit sport with no options is $16,710. I was quoted $15.5k before tax on a base model.

If you don't mind my asking what dealership is this and who is the salesman? The best I've been able to do is $16,794.25 out the door (in MD).

Fit Sport Auto Blaze Orange!

MSRP on the sticker said $15,395
Destination fee $500
Free set of floormats (had to tear a guys head off to get them but i got them)
Out the door i got it for $15,895
But there are little things that bring the price up.

Tax, title, license, gap insurance coverage, and then any little thing you want to add my price i think out the door was 17,700 roughly i cant remember.

Im in AZ. i know that CA and AZ and going to be the highest just because of the demand for them.
