I believe both exhausts are exatly the same. Because when i bought my exhaust for my 97 coupe, I bought a 92-00 civic cat-back for 2/4dr. I'm sure it is the same with the hatchback. The only difference in coupe to hatch is it is shorter, but I'm sure that the EG is the same as the EK. To double check you could just take a picture of your exhaust now under the car then compare it if there is a decent picture of the EK exhaust.

I got a EK axle-back on my EG. The exhaust is completely the same from 92-00 civics with maybe a few exceptions like sedans (coupes are the same length as hatchbacks)..
