Hey I am kind of new at the whole tire and rim thing.
Wanted to know anyones input on these rims and tires. Does anyone else have any other better suggestions around the same price range? Also, I haven't lowered my car yet but I plan on doing so. Anybody know if this setup will have issues...rubbing?

You shouldn't have any rubbing issues w/ that rim/tire combo even if you lower the vehicle

 

BTW.. just so you know... those aren't SSR's. the description says SSR Professor SP1 "style" rims
they are knock-off's

not bashing you for it, just didn't want you buying them thinking you were getting a helluva good deal on the real thing

 

Oh...thanks for the catch on that. In that case Anyone know where to buy the real rims for a decent price. I am actually looking for any decent 17" black rim and tire combo. I was just suggested this by a buddy.

 

outlaw, those ssr knockies i wouldnt get. on the new civic models, 18's are hot. chromed out 18's with a 215 tire. Everyone has their different opinions of course, personally i dont think the new model looks sporty enough to put on 17/235 tires or w/e.. Get em flashy cuz its a big bodied coupe. But anywhooo, if ur into those ssr's, Enkei's are prolly ur best bang for ur buck.

enkei performance series rims are mint.

just make sure whatever rims you buy the bolt pattern is 5X114.3 with the right offset at whatever width aswell.

 

Hey what do you guys think of Motegi rims?
Anything bad / good about them I should know about?

 

personally i think their price doesnt match the product.. i wouldnt roll them myself.. well the ones i've seen anyways, if they have some performance series rims out might we worth taking a look at

 

Traklite isn't a bad wheel from Motegi... light as hell too
