I did, that was in style here a lil bit ago, but now every1 is into JDM. Alot of peeps talk bad about it, but they can't admit that they once did it, they don't wanna get flamed or called a ricer. I liked how it looked at the time. I had to have my fenders rolled and that was it.I'd upgrade the shocks if I were you. I can honestly say the only place it rubbed was in the right rear because my car was hit there and the bumper was offline. Do what you want with your car, they aint drivin it. I don't think Id go past a 16 on my car anymore, I like how smaller wheels perform and the car isn't as high.

 

I think you need to find a site for show cars. Here at H-T, we DRIVE our cars. What a concept.

May I ask why you posted that question? You must not know that this site is not about style and show cars. Anyways, if you do decide to put 18s on a civic then good luck. If you hit any sort of pothole you might as well head back up to where you bought your rims from and order a new rim. Potholes will crack your 18s on your civic due to the fact that your tires will be extremely low profile. But hey, be my guest and go out and buy some 18s, but just remember that you are going to need a fat bank account for all those rims you are going to have to replace.

Its your car bro, do whatever you want to it. Don't listen to these bandwagoneers who have no style of their own, and just want to be part of whats popular. Personally, I wouldn't go with 18's just cause of fitment issues. Fixin up your car shouldn't be a popularity contest. Just have fun...

BTW I'm using 15's now but still have a set of 17" RH CP10's that make it out of the garage from time to time.

18" rims are ok I guess if that is your style. Most people here, as you can see, would not go that route. Do what you want, bottom line.

I think its ok to go 18' if thats your style... the handling would suck though. Personally, I would go 17 the biggest.

it hurts performance on the street yea, but they look ALOT better than every set of rota slipstreams i see.
18's are great for show cars (except chroms) but for street its pushing it.
