rich or not?
this might sound a bit stupid, but i'm sure i've seen / read worse on this site!
so what does it take for say a (gs-r) to run rich? intake, headers, exhaust? just basic bolt-ons, or do cam gear adjustments, and fuel curves, etc. have more of a 'rich' effect. i know when your're run lean, your're not getting enough gas...rich=too much- but how to tell? too much black (exhaust biuld-up) in muffler?
i had a 98 ex that ran too rich, it burned up a high-flow cat in less than a month.
i just want to avoid this on my teg. any advice would help....no smart *** know-it-alls opinions welcomed, but anything helpful will be appreciated...
