Default Rear defrost

It appears that the leads that connect to my rear window have "broken" off
but not physically. Looks like they were attached with some sort of adhesive or soldered on? How can I re-attach them?

Mine has the same problem, it happened after I had tint put on. They should still work just fine, just not visually pleasing.

Does not work... On either side there's one of those leads both are no longer attached to the glass... One was until the other day when I wiped my rear window and snapped it off accidentally... The lead that had been attached defrosted like the middle portion of the rear glass... the other one was "broken" off when my rear window was tinted... Isn't the lead what sends the heat into the glas via those 'orange' lines?

Ok, the part that came off on mine were the small rectangular black pieces. The wires that ran into those and out of those onto the glass still were connected. If that metal strip is not connected to the "orange lines" then yes, thats why your rear defrost is not working.

Yes, I'm aware of that... I need to know how to re-attach them... Any ideas? Adhesive? Soldered? How?
