Default D16 - B16 Transmission swap. ........ Is it possible ??

The tranny on my Turbo'd D16 just started making some funny groaning noises. !!
Thought if I've gotta get a new box might try and get one from a B16 or a B18.

Is it possible to fit these boxes to a D16Y8 and if so what sorta work is involved ??

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

will require at least an adaptor plate to match then prob will have to figure out something with the flywheel/clutch differences, axles, half shaft etc.... Just get another D series there usually cheep, by the time you get it fabed up for a b series you could have prob bought 3 D series compared to 1 B series and it mounted to a D
