Default 205/40 post your experiences

I'm considering running 18x7.5 with 205/40's on my accord. This is very close to stock diameter which is great, but I scared of little protection my rims will have. Would stepping up to say a 215/40 make any difference? I know alotta civic guys run 205/40's on there 16's and some stock mini's come stock with this size. So it cant' be that bad right . Lets hear those horror stories of bent rims...any advice or tips is appreciated, thanks

no such thing as 205/40-18

the size for your car is 215/40-18. if u are worried about the harsh ride then go w/ 17 or 16" wheels.

17" for your car will be : 205/45

16" will be: 205/50

oh snap...i stand corrected, man.... thanks for the info but yeah, 205/40 would still be the wrong size.

if you are worried about your rims being susceptible to damage from potholes, then go w/ 17 or 16" wheels.
