Default Looking for more info on these flex joints!

I'm wondering if anyone has worked with these flex sections, and how you liked them.

Also looking for any info on where I purchase them.

All I know is that they are made by Aeroquip.

Thanks for your time!

Thats really cool, never seen it before. I see no reason why that wouldn't work. Do they make small ones too that you could use for wastegates?

there are a bunch of companies that make them. I think Walker Exhaust has them listed on their site.
I can see them corroding together after a while. No personal experience.

From what I can see, those flex side to side and are rigid along the length of the pipe. Great for a longitudal VW/Audi motor but I wouldn't put it on any FWD transverse car.

Good motor mounts and exhaust mounts are the key to flex section life.

Exhaust pipe isn't bolted in rigid so why worry about expansion ? And if there are any off sets in the pipe they will flex and take up any expansion any ways.
