ok, i got a del sol 93 s (d15b7), i guess same as a 5g eg civic dx. I'm deciding what kind of swap should I do, its either a mini-me or a full d16z6 swap. I should of got the full d16z6 long block but you know how broke people get, i got lotsa bills to pay, so if anyone here please help me on what I got?
>>> These are the parts I have, I got a d16z6 head (dunno how many miles) with valve cover, throttle body, intake mani, injectors, a AEM adjustable timing gear, and a P28 sohc vtec ecu from a 92-95 ex/si.

~~~~~Ok. the Questions:

01. Do I need a d16z6 distributor or can I hack the d15b7 distributor to fit/work?
02. Now, am I missing anything for the mini-me swap besides gaskets?
03. Im burning a little oil here (not really bad unless I gun everyday) - Is the mini-me swap worth it with 130,000 miles on the engine?
04. So do I need to change my piston rings or its fine?
05. Tapping wires from ecu, is it a bitch? easy? or just a get a ex wire harness?
06. If I buy the bottom end of the d16z6 are they any parts I need besides the block internals?


..Wells those are my questions, any feedback from anyone will be greatly appreciated, Im planning to stick with under-rated D camp and mess with the internals later after I accomplish this first swap mission, then after my bills its on. i fockin' hate being on a buget? feel me?

 

u need to find a used ex/si (92-95 for the si or 92 up ex) trans that will help alot.
