Default type R spoiler or not?

Hi,
What are the advantages and disadvantages of have the type R spoiler other than looks. Also if you had a choice, would you go for the type R spoiler or keep the gsr wing. I'm just debating about getting a new spoiler.

Also is there anyone in here with a type R wing on their Gsr's, if you can post pics that would be great.

thanks

I might be wrong but, I dont think it serves a purpose unless your going over 100 MPH. Keep your car wingless.

The only advantage is look. It don't believe Honda actually test it in the wind tunnel.

I have read that the wing on the TT Supra is actually meant to be "functional." To give you an idea, it's something like 50 lbs of force at the speed of 85mph.

Therefore, you can get the same result by carrying a big bag of rice if you really care about being functional. But Integra is a FWD, so I don't know if there are any advantages.

i think it depends on how ur fixing up ur car. if ur trying to go all jdm, then DO IT!! if not, then keep ur gsr wing or no wing at all.
