it really depends on how "customised" your car is. there are many different stages. a full blown race clutch is not something you want on a daily driver.

well a race clutch hold alot more torque than a standard clutch. they use different compounds. things like that are what makes a race clutch more expensive.

Please tell me your car is modified to death and i mean the engine. If not your pedal feel is going to feel like your kicking a brick wall all the time and your going to hate daily driving.

What does that mean in English?

A stronger clutch for racing is going t have a harder and harder engagement than an OEM or street clutch. What modifications are done to your engine?

a race clutch has very harsh engagement. unless your turbo or have an astonishing na motor a racing clutch is unneeded

I hope youre taking it easy in the Break In or you will be replacing your clutch again soon.
I'll tell you though, from what I have seen out of Honda OEM clutches, I am a HUGE fan. If youre running an i/h/e combo, I would go right back to Honda.
My CM Stage 3 hurts my leg when Im stuck in traffic.....
i have seen 145k miles out of a stock Honda clutch on a Prelude that was making ~175whp and did about 75 AutoX events+daily driving. At 95k miles when we tokk mine out, it was still very meaty.
Racing type clutch.......different friction compounds and springs, less surface I.E. 3-4-6 puck VS full disc. I like Full Discs for any street car.

How does one modify the torque without modifying the engine? I think it's safe to assume you probaly have minimum mods and a H23A powerplant. For you a race clutch is overkill unless you already have major engine mods or have ambitions of modifying your engine. What you probaly got as a "race clutch" was just still a full faced disk that's made with a better compound. I assume this because you said it's not to bad. When you get into serious race clutchs you get into puck clutches, 6 puck, 4 puck etc. These are the type of clutchs on which most would prefer not to DD on because of their harsh near instaneous engagement, and it's a lot harsher on your drivetrain due to this. So it's not that comfortable to DD around town on, especially if you live in a city and/or in a mountainous area. Do some reading on clutches you can find out a lot about them such as sprung/unsprung, what the difference between compounds used on the disk are, to the difference between full faced, and puck clutches.
