My daily driver 01 DX sedan needs new suspension BADLY. The wheels will continue bouncing after a bump for about 100 feet. Forget about staying straight while turning and hitting a bump.
What are the cheapest possible OEM replacement shocks/struts for this vehicle? I remember back in the day, KYB GR-2s would be okay. However, Pep Boys says they don't work for this car.
Preferably something I can pick up from an Autozone or something right now. Thanks in advance.

I haven't really seen any struts that are 'cheap'. Some shocks are, but struts take a bit more to make--especially with all of the metal that's on the front of the 7th gen struts.

Good Luck.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Do KYBs work for this model Civic? Pep Boys said they don't, but then again, I'm not one to trust them. I don't care too much for the price as long as I can pick them up at an Autozone or something near me very quickly.
Pep Boy's OEM replacement struts/shocks are $114 each.
