Is snell M2000 rating the same as snell 2000? Is the snell M2000 acceptable for drag racing?

 

i believe the m2000 rating is for motorcycle's. the new rating for "sports application" racing is the SA 2005, i just bought a new helmet and the most current rating is the SA 2005.

not quite sure if your local track will let you run with the m2000, maybe someone else on here can help

 

I figured it was for motorcycles, but reading the NHRA rules it said about Snell M, and I didn't know if that was the same as Snell M2000. I was planning on going to Mason Dixon In MD soon and I believe they go by the NHRA rules.
