Anyone know when the next model S2000 comes out?
Does anyone know when Honda plans on releasing the next generation of the s2000?
I saw a picture of what looked like an AP2 with a spoon top with rear windows called the XGA. Which is a 2+2 roadster. Has there been any more news about this? Any date set for when this body style will be phased out?
I hope it runs longer than the NSX because I think Honda did right with this car and all the new cars coming out look alike..... and that's not a good thing. I was really excited for when the new civic was due to come out, but when it was finally released I was really disappointed because I think it looks like a mix between the TC and the Prius, I think the EVO looks like a Dodge Charger and the rest of them look like fat space ships. I love the classic lines that the s2000 has and I hope they keep it that way.
If they mess up the "S" I'll never forgive them.

what your talking about has been talked about a long time ago... they said it would have a V6 make about 320whp 2+2 model and it will no longer be a convert and now a coupe....

Just like I will never forgive them for killing the Prelude.
But Honda, just like every other manufacturer, sometimes does things we will never understand.
They have already messed up when they kept the name S2000 for a car with a 2.2l motor. For some reason that bothers me. LOL

the S2000 wasnt more or less to describe the motor displacement...
and the lude was a kill from birth!

Aww... I liked the 92-96 Preludes. I also think they were right for keeping the name S2000. You can always custom make a 2200 badge though by cutting up the 2000 one lol.

The lude was Honda's sports car for years.
They should NEVER have killed the Integra, that was simply awful!!
I'm just wondering what is going to be out, because the XGA seemed like a step in the right direction, but I'd prefer a 2 seater, with back seat as an option like Aston Martin does.
And I think the 2.2l only came to N. America, the Brits still have a 2.0l. THAT was UNHonda-like. They should have pushed out 260 from that 2.0l that would have put them in step with sports car makers in a different way, rather than just make the 120hp/l a fluke outcome. I don't know........

no new news on the next s2000 or replacement but if you're bored you can check out the new nsx being tested on the s2000 shell.
