Default Brake Disengagement Problem

'91 CRX Si. The front right brake was staying engaged so I replaced that caliper and now it seems to have stopped(unless I didn't get all the air out of the line). Now I've noticed that the left rear brake is getting hot even when I don't use the brakes to slow down, which means that it is staying engaged. Since both those brakes are on the same circuit, that makes me think that the problem could be the proportioning valve. Or would a faulty master cylinder have the same effect? The brake system is definitely not my specialty. I need to know what could be causing this, and which part to replace.

This is my everyday driver so a quick response would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I would bleed the brakes several times first to see if that helps.

It wouldnt hurt to just take the caplier off enough to remove and clean up/re-grease the two sliders.

That would take away some of the resistance to opening, but if it continues, its probably the cylinder clogged up with gunk like the other one was.
