I recently purchased an 88 crx si. Does anybody know anything about OBX? For the most part I've heard that their stuff is crap? I'm particularly interested in their intake manifold. On my 95 eg minime, I'm running a Skunk2 manifold and thoroughly pleased with it. My goal for this particular crx project is to keep it NA and the stock airbox. I want to see what she is capable of. Does anybody have any dyno results for the OBX manifold? It's not a track car, just a daily driver. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Oh yeah, I'm about to purchase the Greddy SP2 exhaust and a DC stainless header as well. Is the Greddy SP2 better than the Tanabe G-Medallion? Skunk2? For the exhaust, I'm looking for something that isn't too annoyingly loud. Preferably within the legal decibel limit.

Look in the all motor forum, they have some dnyo plots of it. Cheaper better off with a y8 mani installed.

Alot of people are quite happy with the greddy. You can do better with a header if you are willing to spend money, also if you are looking for more pep. a6s love cams

 

they like cams eh? what types of cams are good for the a6? also is the head gasket that came stock paper or metal?

Well it's a sohc... so one cam, depending on what you want they have a bunch of good cams. A great all around cam setup propperly is a exo speed SR 909.

It might or might not work with what you want. It's a paper gasket, most everone uses a z6 or y8 gasket for a tiny little comp bump.

 

if youre trying to make the most HP possible, why go with that header and exhaust? oh, and a stock airbox.
