so i have to look for crx bumpers only or a 90 civic hatchback

CRX bumper. Hatch and Sedan will not fit with out modifications several items.

You would have to modify fenders, get the filler piece, get the bumper. And possibly new bumper lights. It really isn't worth it...Certifit makes a bumper for CRX's and Honda still sells them too. Last time I check Honda it was $150 or something for a bumper...not bad for an OEM part.
