6 or 7 months ago i drove my car in the garage ..i try and go start it today and nothing ..so i put new plugs and a new fuel filter ..the cap and rotor are fairly new ..the fuel pump turns on

and car turns over but doesn't start when i sprayed carb cleaner in the manifold it turned on till the fumes were gone (about 15 seconds) then shut off

any ideas? im thinking of draining the gas tank and re-fueling

 

I would defineatly try new gas..Unless you put some kind of treatment in the gas tank before you let it sit,the gas will be stale after 6 months.

 

my main relay went out last time i let mine sit 3 months. I tried to start it and no fuel pump turning on noise.

 

my cars fine ..but a ****** rat or mouse chewed my injector wires ..no wonder it was so hard to figure out!

One of those bastards chewed my vacuum lines a while back,and i live in a urban city
