So i bought my 1st honda on saturday, A 98 lx black,Bone stock.

I want to make my own ripoff AEM CAI for it. My problem is i cant find any pics online of a CAI for this engine. I found pics of the type that the intake manifold receives the intake tube from the side but not for my engine,which the throttle body sits on top.

I just want to see how servere i will have to have to tube bend to curve down

If you guys have any pics of your engine,that would be great.

 

i've seen people use pvc pipe... you should try this, i did it and drove around the block and it was pretty loud.

 

pvc...smart. Its only toxic if it melts

no name cai's are so ridiculously cheap on ebay...it would be silly to put something together unless you already owned the materials

 

thanks. Ive seen people use PVC too i would never. I think its tacky. Im using 2.5" prebend pipe and just cutting what i need. Summit have a pic but its not in to car

 

i dont have a ebay account, paypal account and i kinda WANT to do it my self. The most i will do with this car is intake,exaust,and wheels. I really just want something to do on saturday!
