I would say it's a drivers race. I have seen some pretty fast Spec V's in my area.

The spec v beat the sedan by 0.2 seconds on the 1/4 mile

i had a 04 spec that was pretty well modded. I/H/E, midpipe, pulley, tb bypass, suspension mods, brakes, etc. id say my si would probably beat it or be very close. its a drivers race though, if its modded vs. stock si, its a pretty even match.

the RSX is more of a highway killer than a 0-60 car. The TSX had a better 0-60 time, atleast a few years ago, but put them head to head on the highway, and the RSX would take it.

It would also depend on the type of race for the SI and spec v. drag, auto x, course race.

Too bad its a nissan and it wont last. their Q has dropped off the face of the earth

I cant remember ever when a RSX-s had a slower 0-60 time than the tsx. The TSX was doing it in like 7.5-7.8 thats base RSX/Ep3 si times.

stock type-s vs stock tsx
type-s is quicker 0-60, 1/8, 1/4, top speed, autox, rally, reverse....etc

are you talking about the new 08 sentras? if so, it's a completely different car from the previous generation - different body/chassis, suspension setup, completely different engine and tranny. they really are not comparable to the old spec-v's.

it aint that bad lol.

anyways. if ur talkin about an 02-06, a si will walk over it all day (believe me I drive one). its slow, just torquey, but torque doesnt do crap for these cars, just makes wheel spin and the car revs so low. stock gsrs blow me by and im modded

ive owned a modded 02 spec v, an 06 rsx-s with cai and an 07 si all within the past year. I like si. they all have their pros and cons but its all a matter of preference.

I went with a buddy of mine to test drive a brand new spec (p) today. I say spec p because the thing is a peice of ****. Inside fit and finish is garbage, outside looks like poo, and it does'nt have any power.. SI>Spec V. LSD is an option, sunroof is an option, once you factor those in your over the price of an si sedan.
