Default mp3 player use in the s2000

Just got my S2k on Sunday and the dealership had to order a new copy of the manual as this was a showroom floor model and they apparently lost the original. I was wondering what my options are for an mp3 player input jack (8'' stereo jack) or something of that nature. Would also be interested in any other options anyone might have for mp3 player compatibility with the stock radio. This is a lease, and I would prefer not to have to do anything that would alter the car in any serious way. Thanks for any information in advance.

Sadly it does not, but installing an aftermarket deck with auxiliary inputs is an easy solution, and easily reversible.

Would there be any issue with the use of the dash controls or the current speaker configuration with the after market deck you mentioned? And, do you have any suggestions on a good after market for the s2k? Thanks for the quick response and info.

Try this guy. He's a sponsor on S2ki.com. The company name is Modifry, and they make an adapter for the OEM audio controls to work with aftermarket head units.

I'm willing to bet your manual is in your car.

Secret compartment ftw.

Did see the following as an option for the ipod, and one with a female 8'' jack as well..... Would be interested in hearing from anyone who is using this.....

And I did check every compartment that I know of on the car.... no manual But thanks for the info.

There is a compartment that you don't know of. That's why it's secret.

It is super secret, because if you don't open it right, the VTEC hamsters will escape.

Did you happen to have honda music link installed after you purchased the car, and if so, what was the total charge?? The cables on the link above seem quite a bit cheaper, anyone know how hard it is to get to the disc changer jack on the back of the stereo??
