Default EFB2 Hasport Kit

if i get a b-series motor with a b-series hydro tranny, is the part that is circled the only thing I'll need?, or do I still need to get the EF to B shift linkage as well as this part. Also does Hasport give directions on how to install this particular part?

You will need everything that is in the picture for the conversion. The hydro tranny mount is different than cable. You will also need efb series shift linkage or custom cut b sereis linkage.

i read that the stock b18b tranny (S80 i think) is crap. Any recommendations for a better tranny wether it be hydro or cable? It's going to see way more highway than track. So something that has a long 5th gear. I know the JDM S1 revs at like 4000 rpms going like 65 or something like that so that's def not going to work...i need to save fuel.

yeah, not crap, but just not the best for accelleration. Or for a B16 that has less torque than a 1.8L.

a 94+ GSR transmission will be a good compromise between a short geared B16/ITR transmission, and the longer geared LS transmissions. 3000rpm at 60mph and ~4000rpm at 80mph
