anyone have there quarter panel rust fixed?

How much did it cost to get fixed and painted? ( if u had someone do it for you)


Or does anyone know any DIY to do it

 

i got quoted 500 last year for my old 95 ex, wasnt worth it imo

 

Wire wheel, Rust bullet, and rustoleum black paint.

 

Depends on how you have it fixed. Done right with a new quarter panel $475 just for the panel then add labor about a $1000 just to fix one side. Patch panels can be had for about $50 per side plus labor to install. If the rot isn't to bad they could cut it out weld in a few small patch pieces bondo and repaint the car for a lot less. Also the paint you choose has a big effect on the cost of repainting the car

the rust on this car isnt that bad, its right where the bumper meets the panel, and its like maybe an inch anda half wide...

Not enough to replace the whole panel

 

I say wire wheel it, hit it with some "rust bullet" (great product) and sand/prime/paint.
