I have an intermittent 4ws warning light on my dash. When it's on it feels like i'm driving a forklift. It comes on every 2nd ignition cycle.

 

mine does that occasionally too. If one of probably 10 or who knows how many systems/sensors involved, gets a fault code 4ws will shut off. Could be vss, abs, the actual gear that the Vss reads could have a tooth fucked up, the vss could have been pulled furthur away from the gear and doesn't read the vehicle's speed.
Try not to drive when the 4ws light is on. I found that if the 4ws shuts off my rear tires might not be centered and could be causing extra DRAG. that and it would expletive your alignment up plus probably another 100942380934 things as well.

After i completly shut off car and wait a couple minutes it usually doesn't come back on for a couple of days.

I also found it usually only comes on after quick restarts. Like shutting it down and running into store for 2 minutes. Come out and light will come on after restart.

Does your light come on right after you start your car?? Or while driving

 

mine comes on almost every second restart. The rear wheel wanders on heavy crowned road. When i pull the codes, its always points towards the 4ws control unit which is at the back of the rear seat.
