Engine Swap Question
I have a 94' civic with the 1.5. I Just got a 1994 Integra B18B1 engine with the ECU and tranny and it looks like i will have to do this all myself. When looking around, all I could find is B18C1 swap info. Can someone explain what i will need to do... Im not fully retarded, i do know about axels and all that but my biggest concern is wiring... Can i use my stock wiring harness?

*Match your axles with the intermediate shaft you get (i.e. if you get a 94-01 integra intermediate shaft, use 94-01 integra axles, if you get a 90-91 intermediate shaft, use 90-91 axles, and if you get a 92-93 intermediate shaft, use 92-93 axles)
Also Ive heard that the passenger side axle is the same through all years (90-01) but the drivers side is the one you need to match the intermediate shaft, you might want to research on that.
*94-01 integra reat motor mount bracket (a black t-shaped bracket that bolst the motor and tranny to the rear motor mount)
*I suggest getting after market mounts for a B-series into an EG, But Ive heard that the drivers side D-series mount will work
*Your stock D-series top tranny mount will work for a b-series hydraulic tranny, Ive used one in my EG with an Ls motor with a GSR tranny
*Ive heard that the rear motor mount from a 94-01 will work, but again, I suggest getting the aftermarket one that comes with most aftermarket mount kits
*Your stock wiring harness and engine harness will work, just make sure you have an OBD1 LS distributor and OBD1 fuel injectors
I think thats it, all I can remember off hand that is. Good luck!

all B series swaps should be the same into any EG cause the DC2 and EG have pretty much the same layout, ive got a 97 B18C in my 93 civic dx and all i used was stock DC2 mounts and Stock DC2 axles and DC2 shift linkage but i agree with him ^^^^ you might as well do after market mounts unless you dont want your car to vibrate its *** off, then try new stock DC2 mounts for a nice stock feel.
