fog lights troubleshoot.
well i just bought some optilux cause i saw a thread on TI and it looked promising. well i installed them and they weren't as bright as i thought they would be. but my friend had a set of catz fog lamps. they where more visible but the power outage was the same. also i wired the fogs to my driver headlight and when i turn them on my driver headlight gets dimmer. so im wondering what can i do to make my fogs brighter and to fix my headlight. thanks H-T
Use one of the free pins on the fuse box in the car to power the fog lights. The headlights and fogs are dim because the stock headlight wiring is not meant to power both of them.

That was your first mistake....
Headlights + Foglights = more current draw than the headlight circuit was designed to handle... Dim lights are the least of your worries... Disconnect the foglights from the headlight circuit ASAP.
If you really want the fogs to be on when you turn your headlights on, wire them through a relay, triggered by turning the headlights on and powered directly to the battery...
And the reason you're not using a switch to turn the fogs on like most of the rest of the world is??
