I have an interesting situation. My g/f says if she can get an ITR she wants a red one. Will a canadian one pass US emissions and all that stuff? How hard is it to get one into the states? The problem I have is that I love my yellow R but I don't know which one I would worry about more, mine that I love or the red one that we would have to go through all the trouble to get. And if we did get one I think I would have to switch seats with her. The problem with her having one is that it would be the first stick shes ever had and I don't know if I would want her to thrash the **** out of an R. Of course I would have to let both the Rs take turns at the autoX. So gimme some insight here guys.

 

Some people might object to this but i think it might be easier to find a used R and paint it red, if she doesnt mine getting a used one of course, and that'll be prolly less hassle in getting a jdm R over here,but thats just an option you guys can also do

Canadian R is NOT red, non of the year we get red...
we only got white and yellow

is the Interior taht is red in year 2001.

 

I don't understand. The only colors Canadian ITRs came in were CW and PY (2000 only). Red was never available. The 2001 CW ITRs came with red seats though.

 

i only see red ITR's in australia and european countries.

 

Sorry I wasn't thinkin clearly (miller time) What about anyplace you can get a red R

 

Find one that needs paint anyway and spray it..
