I remember reading about this guy, he is somewhere in california i think?

all i know is i that his shop ports stock manifolds to help them breathe mo' betta and i can keep my junk stock and get the HP gains.

I think it was JG. I have the magazine from where they did the header test and he brought a ported stock manifold.

Dunno which isue though.

 

For the price of getting it ported you might as well just buy a cheap header. It will most likely be just as good, but what do I know.

 

yeah, but a stock manifold will get past the cops and emission folk easy.

and i remember the ported exhaust mainfold running about $75.. if i put a header on my car that was only $75 (assuming there is such a thing) it would probably melt off the first time my motor reached operating temperature.

I think DPR ported the stock manifold in the header test that SCC did
