Default Looking at 07 SI

I am looking at buying an 07 SI 4 door. Don't know to much about the new ones, are they good and is anybody experiencing any major problems with them?

They are all POS we hate our cars and this entire forum is just a waste of time. It's a Honda, speaks for itself.

Stupid questions deserve stupid answers. It is obviously a good car if all of us love ours. Why dont you look on Edmunds, they are pretty smart

All I did was ask a reasonable question and only one person had any useful info, so expletive all of the rest of you for your cocky *** answers, people like you are what make import owners look bad

I'm with him...you can find all your answers by simply reading. To find out if they are any "good" take one for a test drive, if you like it...then it may be "good". All vehicles are going to have problems, major or minor, buy what you like.

the SI blows up after 20k miles so make sure you jump out of it when you reach that.

I have test drove a few ones and liked it, but basically I just wanted to know if anybody that owns one has had many problems or if anyone working at honda has seen them in all the time for work, I don't want to spend $20k+ to have my car in the shop all the time. I know all makes and models have problems but some have way more than others

Wow people are so ****** rude on this forum sometimes...anyways here I'll give you a brief description of what the 07 SI's are like...

The car is ****** attractive on the outside. I get compliments on how bad *** the new Civic Si's are all the time.

The interior is just beautiful. You got black interior with red stitching on the seats. They're bucket seats that just hugs you and say drive me please!!!!! The clutch and the gear is super soft. Don't be afraid to power shift with it.

The stock stereo is ******* nice. All you have to do is get 10 or 12 inch subs and it sounds perfect.

The backseat is small on the coupes but on the sedan’s it’s pretty spacey.
The RPM gauge is soooooooooooo sexy! Lol
Steering wheel is nice, dudeeee the whole ****** car is sweet.

GO BUY IT!

damn...some of you are just dicks in here. Dude is trying to get answer and yes searching helps but every once in awhile people get lazy and come here. Thats why we're here for right is to get help from others. But about the car, i'm looking at purchasing one myself soon, it's a great car all around. By checking the reviews nothing bad really accept people complaining about the lack of low end torque. However, the SI coupe i heard a lot of people having problem with third gear.

I have an 07 SI Coupe and I dont think its all that great. I have to go to the dealer tomorrow because my horn stopped working, the driver side door is leaking water and my rear passenger side rim is peeling. This is all with only 3500 miles.

At this point if I had a choice, I would have bought something else.

Depending on how many miles you drive and how bad your winters are, I would get an RX8. I had one before the SI and I miss it. Handles better and its faster. The only thing is the gas mileage is absolutely horrible. 15-17 mpg. Looks a hell of a lot better too especially with the Mazdaspeed bodykit.
