You have 2 choices.

1. Explain better what your problem is.
2. Make a video and host it and post it here so we could know whats going on.

bummer, if it has spark and it has fuel and it has compression/air then it should start. Need to explain it better man.

sometimes it takes a little to start up,when my buddy had his D16z6 laying around and decided to boost it,well once put it was in it took about 30 seconds to actually turn on so if your getting sparks and fuel is going in keep it turned for a while

LoL

No, that's not normal for a boosted motor nor a stock one.

oh k...you removed the head....doing so requires removal of the timing belt...find the clue yet? go from there....

ok so i decided instead of trying to figure it out with out knowing what it could be i just took the head off again so i could start over again...also i wanted to make sure that when i did the timeing that i diddnt do it wrong and hit the valves.

it all looks good...so ill get back with all of you in a day or so....also any suggestions any of you have would be appreciated.

thanks

make sure the timing is correct, firing order, and all cables connected and it should fire right up. unless you have another problem that you do not know about that has nothing to do with the removal/installation of the head.

Im not sure if the distributor has the same drive system, but on the D16 the Dist. fits into a slot on the cam. try taking the dist. off and flipping the rotor 180º and bolt the dist. back on.
I had the same problem when i did my head gasket like a week ago... i got everything back together, timing corect, and all the motor would do was crank. i knew that the dist. might have gotten moved from its original position from the head removal and sure enough it did.
luckly theres only 2 ways it can go on

did you pull the spark plug wires from the distibuter? if so you probley got them in the wrong order, thats the only thing i can think of is if you have fuel, spark air, and compresson than thats it. also check your timing with a timing light.
