Yes, it's come down to that time of year again! A lot has changed since N11. We had a transition year and found the best place we have ever held a meet. Rock Point Provincial Park. All the things we needed we finally got. Like being able to stay up all night if we want to and have a bonfire. The area the meet was in is sheltered from the blazing Canadian sun. The lake was great for swimming and everyone had a great time.

This year will be the same, only better. It's the first year the N meet is organized by a committee. This helped spread out the work which might ask the question "how much work is there in organizing a meet?", well, strangely a decent amount, not like doing a motor swap, more like problem solving for global peace...trying to make everyone happy is tough! I'll keep this brief and lets give a hearty thanks to the guys that made it happen! Mike, Ollie, Kyle, Nicolas, Shane, Scott, TJ, and the original Niagara meet organizer Ken Dymet who helped us with the transition.

If you have some pictures from previous meets that you can show off here that would be great to remind everyone how many great CRX's show up.

Let's try to beat the record of 206 cars registered from N10!

I'll probably end up going. I just left my job and I'm in school for the summer so a weekend shouldn't be a problem now.

I'll be back again with a better camera this year. Lots of good pictures again.

 

A hint for you guys with girlfriends like mine that are tired of your damn CRX and anyone else that shares the joy like you...

Just ask them if they'd like to go camping in beautiful Niagara Falls for the weekend...give them the date....they say yes that sounds awesome because you two haven't done anything awesome in a long time.

You say, "OK cool, we're taking the CRX and we'll be meeting some friends there."

It'll be too late for her to back out. Then it's on. This worked for me and I'm sure it'll work for you.

I'm going, but do have one question...Will there be subtitles at this meet? I don't know effin french.

 

You speak the truth man about tricking your girl for camping! BUT...it only works the FIRST time! Now whenever my wife says that we haven't gone anywhere she will always interject "and the Niagara CRX Meet DOES NOT COUNT!" This is the truth.

I will say however that now that she has met and become friends with much of the clan, she looks forwards to going. Especially if she has other women to hang with like there has been recently. Which brings up a point I'd like to make. The N13 meet will be a family friendly meet. Not saying we won't pop a few brewskis and have a blast, just won't be any burning down of trees or getting arrested kinda "fun".

So bring the girls! ..and the kids. I am, of course mine is still in my wifes belly.

 

Question: For all of us without passports, all we need is a driver's license to cross the border, correct?

I think they "relaxed" the controls at the border for awhile but I'm getting one just to be safe.
