Default Trying to sell my Si to get a Type R

I have my 07 Si up for sale so that I can buy a Type R and pay off my credit card. (have the best of both worlds) When I get one all I plan to do is I/H/E and try it out on the track sometime. You guys think this will be a good decision? Are parts still easy to come by?

And I love the car. I just know I would still be happy with a Type R and even happier having a CC paid off.

handbrake......

Do you have a garage
a. If yes, then buy an R
b. If no, then don't buy an R

anything else is a mundane detail.

Yeah I got lucky with a couple past situations buying cars. I sold a 2005 EVO 8 to get the Si last November and made money off that too. I bought the EVO just over a year before the Si for dirty cheap ($23K) with 4600 miles on it. I financed it for about 7 months then paid it off. I sold it for $24K then went and paid cash for the Si and had a nice chunk left over. My wife works at a dealership so I got employee price on the Si.

I do daily drive, but when I have it parked at work it's in a police compound. Good luck to the guy who wants to break into a police station and try to get my car. I'm thinking of putting the Si on ebay now to just get it sold quick for the price I want. I had great luck selling my 2004 Yamaha R6 on there when I could not sell it for months.

I have not even taken a look at one yet. Want to sell my car first. Are you already certified in AZ? Or are you going to the academy first?

Go with the R. Don't ever leave it vulnerable! evAr! nevAr!

That means no bars, clubs, sleepovers parked in the street, movie theatres, malls, sports games, church, ballets etc.

Seriously though be careful. The car is limited edition and it's going to become more rare to find one that isn't salvaged title/rebuilt. Hopefully at least that and not cut up into pieces like that PY one not too long ago.

I wish the people who are stealing these cars will stop and think about what they're honestly doing. Oh well I guess you can't really comprehend the mind of a thief unless you are one. Especially when they cut up a piece of automotive history.

They aren't limited edition, they are limited Production. There's a difference. But it looks like you've got the right idea otherwise.

Yeah I already did. I'm just not a fast runner or distance runner. It was hard for me. Oh well, I can lateral much easier after the probation period is over. You are a much better runner than me. Just be ready for loads of PT and classroom time. You usually only PT like 3-4 days a week for a couple hours. Unless you have to do discipline runs which suck. Your first week will be pretty easy, be ready to hit the boxing ring on your first Friday!

Only if you have a garage to park it in do it. Saw some of the other guys asking the same thing, you said your situation at work with a police compound but what about the home situation? Garage or not?
