N00b all around. But still excited!
So for the first time ever, I just got a honda.
I've gone through a number of different cars in my short lifespan of 21 years, from a VW Passat 1.8T, to a Subaru WRX 2.5T, to a Ford Focus SVT ( which died. ) and now, as of last night, an '07 Civic Coupe EX (manual of course).
I can't say enough about the car, it really just exudes quality and craftsmanship. I needed a commuter car for a while, and wasn't expecting to get one of these, but it was there at the dealer, and such a good deal, I couldn't pass it up. I would naturally have preferred to go with the Si Sedan, but this was much more affordable with my crappy insurance rates right now.
So I'm new to the boards, new to honda, and real excited to be here. I hope to learn a lot real fast, I'm not planning on doing anything too crazy ( as in the way of turbo or supercharging the car ) but I will be doing some suspension modifications and of course some wheels, a better intake system, and possibly an exhaust ( you know. the basics ). But this is, after all, my commuter car.
So I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions, but I'm definitely not new to the ways of automotive forums, don't worry. I know how to search
-Abram
Edit: a couple new pics at the bottom!

*note - since I took this pic this morning, I have since removed the front license plate. Didn't realize they weren't screwed into the bumper like every other car on the planet.

youll find out honda is a pretty damn easy car to work on, lives forever aslong as you change the oil, gets good mpg, etc. etc.
i wish you had gotten the SI since your a first time honda owner.......so you can see the better side of honda and hear the dohc ivtec roar. but hey, its all good!
