Will a d series speedo gear drive fit on top of a b series? If you switch the tops?

 

Will one from a hydro go into a cable. The problem I have is that I put a cable tranny into a 95 hydro car. What can I do to fix the speedo problem.

The cable tranny has a machanical speed sensor and the hydo is electric sensor tyoe so to run the cable sesor you would have to find a jdm electric sensor and wore ity that way but you would be better just keeping to what is stock. Keep the hydo tranny.

 

I cant this is the tranny i have to use with the b series engine. If anything i will go without it.
