i have a 94 honda civic with a b18b, i was wondering which compressor (d or b series) and which a/c bracket to use. i had "heard" that i could use a del sol b16 a/c bracket but im not sure if it will work. i know HT has very knowledgable techs and diy'ers so i appreciate the help!!!

 

you got it or the crv bracket will work too. Got mine on ebay for 60bucks.

 

what compressor did you wind up using, and which would you recommend for my ej?

 

im sure you can use your d compressor and mate it with a crv or del sol bracket

 

you could stil use the integra bracket with the b series compressor but when its aligned only two bolts hold up though.

let me take that back im refering that method to the 96-00 civics

as stated:
Get the CRV (P7J) front bracket and you can use your D series compressor

 

use del sol or crv or 99~2000 civic si or dc2 inegra ac bracket and u can keep using your d series whole ac set up

 

whatever works man, that route you'll want to take is from the above poster. But i was referring to other alternatives in case others are reading. plus b series condensors are made by denso.

 

the biggest problem is that my compressor was taken off and sold about 6-7 years ago. does anyone have any good suggestions on one or does it not really matter? i was going to go with a remaned compressor off of ebay? good idea? bad idea?

if i didnt have the compressor anymore, what compressor do you think i should use? i just need an idea, so i can get a new one and such.
