ok i want to thank everyone in advance, everyone here is very helpful and really cool about explaining things out but i cant seem to figure out some stuff for my swap.

i purchased an 88 hatch with dpfi, it has no motor in it so i purchased a mini me swap and its obd1. so i know i have to get an si harness to conver to mpfi but do i still have to repin the computer if i have a computer that is already mpfi? will i have to convert anything to obd1 or obd0? any information will really be apreciated. thanks.

 

ok. a mpfi harness wont bolt onto your car. the plugs are diff. you can use the mpfi harness to take a resistor box plug and a dizzy plug but thats it. you have to make the dpfi harness work but converting to mpfi. if the motor you are using is obd1 you need a obd0-obd1 conversion harness, a 4 wire o2 sensor, a obd1 dizzy, and of course a obd1 ecu.
